    FTA is looking to recruit a Business Intelligence Manager to coordinate, design and maintain the company’s information reporting systems. Providing the FTA with robust information, analyses and insight to help achieve the organisations strategic goals. Responsible for Managing a team of 2 BI coordinators to ensuring accurate information is delivered to the business in a timely manner. Multiple sources of data need to be brought to together to provide this information, requiring the role to liaise with internal and external IT suppliers to best facilitate the business’s needs.

    The business will provide development support as required in order stay abreast of the latest information techniques.

    Responsibilities:

    • Review reporting systems in the context of new Power BI and SSRS tools and prepare a plan to migrate old reporting systems onto this new platform
    • Develop new ways of working that streamline processes, utilises web services and minimises repetition.
    • Coordinate the development of new data platforms that will be available for users to explore and interrogate
    • Develop a data security structure and profile staff to best fit their needs while protecting sensitive data
    • Work closely with IT development team, technical support and internal project teams to maintain Technical knowledge, remain ISO27001 compliant and adhere to network protocols
    • Support the migration and reporting on new systems
    • Manage the team of BI coordinators, organising work, agreeing priorities setting objective and developing them for the future business needs
    • Prioritise and arrange reporting requests.
    • Be prepared to take on business analysis projects looking into unrelated or new datasets to create business opportunities. Good working knowledge of data and business requirements will be needed.
    • Develop a suit of dashboards and reports in Power BI and SSRS giving insights into income, profitability and other insights
    • Provide training and support to business users in Power BI and SSRS. Be FTA’s information champion.

    Key Qualifications & Skills:

    • An Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft BI software SSIS, SSRS & Power BI
    • Excellent data manipulation techniques
    • Good understanding SQL Server, database design knowledge and how to structure data
    • Able to develop and corroborate information that validates reports
    • Strong Stakeholder management – able to communicate to all staff up to Board level
    • Good organisational, prioritisation and problem-solving skills
    • Able to work under pressure and is eager to learn and develop a team
    • To lead by example and demonstrate the company values (Reputation, Excellence, Togetherness & Dynamism)
